September 1, 2003 – Air West announced today the reorganization of some of its lead personnel. Effective immediately, Goran Kulojevic has taken over as Director of Maintenance and Robert Chevaleau will take on the roles and duties as Chief Pilot. This change in management will increase the efficiency and safety of the Mesa based air charter company, allowing them to use their resources and personnel to their fullest extent.

Before coming to Air West in 2002, Mr. Kulojevic worked as a Line Maintenance Mechanic for Yugoslav Airlines as an inspector for Boeing 707, 737, and Douglas DC-9 aircraft. He moved to the United States in 1991 where he played soccer for the Arizona Sandsharks in the US. After retirement from professional sports, Mr. Kulojevic worked as an inspector and shop foreman at Falcon Executive Aviation. Currently, Mr. Kulojevic is also a line pilot for Air West’s aircraft charter department flying the Cessna 300 and 400 series aircraft as well as the Turbo Commander 690A.

Mr. Chevaleau has worked as a pilot at Air West since August of 2000. Prior to that he was employed by the University of Illinois as a Flight Instructor and Check Pilot for the University's Institute of Aviation, outside of Champaign, Illinois. In addition to his roles as Chief Pilot, Mr. Chevaleau is the Check Airman for Air West in the turbine powered Turbo Commander. He is also the chief pilot and aircraft manager for Honcho Company, flying a Conquest II on domestic and international flights.
